Where to go in Truskavets — the top attractions
Between the morning and evening pump-room visits stretch six free hours. Here is how the connoisseurs fill them.
The essential five
1. Adamivka Park. The 1895 English-style landscape park is the town's romantic heart: winding alleys under exotic trees, little pavilions sheltering the historic springs — Yuzya the "beauty water" among them — and benches that have heard two centuries of spa gossip. Come in the late afternoon light. (Details)

2. Mount Tsukhiv observation tower. The "Carpathian Lighthouse" on the wooded hill above town rewards a proper walk (count 1.5–2 hours round trip from the centre, or drive most of the way) with the definitive panorama: the whole resort in its bowl of green hills, the Carpathian ridges layering to the horizon. Sunset is the classic; bring a light jacket even in July. (Details)

3. St. Nicholas Church. The town's oldest building, mentioned in the 15th century, keeps ancient icons and frescoes in a hush that survives any number of tour groups. The 16th-century timber bell tower beside it is a photographic gift. (Details)
4. Truskavets History Museum (Villa Sariusz). Housed in the finest surviving wooden villa, the collection walks you from the 1462 charter through salt pans, oil derricks and the interwar golden age — after it, every street in town reads differently. Pair with our villa architecture walk. (Details)
5. The main pump room itself. Yes, it's on your prescription anyway — but come once purely as a spectator at the morning peak. The choreography of thousands of spouted cups is the town's true theatre. (Details)
Panoramic views & spiritual sites
Statue of Christ the Saviour on Goshivska Hill. This is the tallest statue of Jesus Christ in Ukraine, measuring 12 metres high (standing on a 3-metre concrete pedestal, making it 15 metres in total). Erected in 2020 on Goshivska Hill, it is a copy of the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. From here, visitors can enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the entire city of Truskavets and the surrounding green hills. It is a wonderful destination for evening strolls, stunning sunset photos, and peaceful spiritual contemplation.
The famous Vyshenka neighborhood (Sahaidachnoho Street). Located in a completely different part of Truskavets (around Petro Sahaidachnoho Street), where the famous resort "Lisova Pisnia" (Forest Song) is situated. This is an exceptionally picturesque, quiet residential area of private cottages and modern villas. Its primary advantage is direct and immediate access to the pristine Carpathian forest, making it an ideal destination for wellness walks and forest trails away from the bustling tourist center.
Church of the Protection of the Holy Virgin (12a Drohobychtska St). This is an exceptionally beautiful and grand church of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church located at the entrance to Truskavets. Serving as a key spiritual sanctuary in town, it captivates visitors with its harmonious architecture, gorgeous modern iconostasis, and a peaceful, beautifully landscaped green garden. It is an ideal spot for prayer, quiet contemplation, and spiritual renewal away from the main tourist crowds.
With children
The Dolphinarium "Oscar" runs shows year-round (closed Mondays; tickets around 250–300 UAH) and books out on rainy days — take the earlier session. The city lake adds pedal boats and a beach in summer, and the parks are one continuous playground. More in Truskavets with kids.
Rainy-day options
Spa centres sell day passes to pools and saunas (overview), the museum absorbs a solid hour, cafés along the boulevard specialise in long sessions over cheesecake — and the pump room, of course, is roofed.
